November 11, 2000I took this quiz. It says I'm a hardcore skeptic, but interested or I wouldn't have been there. That's odd, my atheist friend was a spiritual dabler, slightly more spiritual then the hardcore skeptic. I'm just an agnostic. I would have thought I was more spiritual. . . Oh well. Her parents still make her go to church, maybe that still makes a difference.9:36 PM | smovakia no more politics for today, I swear. I just noticed the time stamp for the blog doesn't match the time here. I wonder what time zone it's in. 9:04 PM | smovakia Pete seems to hate New Yorkers. Says the big cities are running the country. There are more people in big cities. They're together. They organize. They're into politics. It makes sense. If you're a farmer or something like that you'd have to go to where the politics are, and give up your farmerdom(made up word alert). a lot of the talk show we're watching seems to be disqulifieing(bad spelling alert) people's ability to vote based on intelligence and accent. Intelligence might be good, but it's unconstituional(we don't take away people's citizenship for being morons, so we can't take away voting ability). 9:00 PM | smovakia Everyone gets way too worked up about the election(US election that is). There are more important things, leave the politics to the polititions(um, I can't spell. . .). My mom's boyfriend is here(he's a republican, my mom's a democrate). Nader should have won. It's as simple as that. I don't believe in throw away votes. If you don't vote for who you truely want to win, don't vote at all. It's practically lieing to vote for someone you don't particularly want to win, especially if there is someone you want to win, but it just a "throw away vote". It's just strange. People are applauding and yelling. It's like a football game. Politics evoking raw emotion. It's just not right. Politics are supposed to be somewhat devoid of emotion, that way people think clearly. Well I dunno. I'm not very knowlegable in these things. |
