January 19, 2001I think smovakia's really my only soul bond. There might be more, but I'm not sure. I'm not even totally sure smovakia's really a soul bond, she started out as a character, but she changed completely(even her name, she was originally Smovikia) and now she more like an alter-ego. Maybe the idea's the same, but the terminology's different. Either way, it feels really wierd to me to write about smovakia as if she weren't me.11:08 PM | smovakia I love art. That's probably not news to most of you, that is if you've been to the rest of my website. But I really can't stand the society that goes along with art. Not the artists themselves, but the people around them who buy the art. The snobs. I went to an art gallery/opening thingy this evening. The art was extremely good, and it was an ok event. There was food and spiffy jazz music, but a lot of people who seemed snobby to me and I had to dress up. I hate dressing up. "losing" my kakhi's isn't exactly an excuse either. I had to wear my large crappy black Cosi pants. I like to think of art as something people view, not just some select group that's really more interested in showing off how much money they can spend then the artistic quality of the work. I respect M.C. Esher a lot, not just for his ability to draw realistic and complex drawings, but for the fact that his art is popular, I mean you can find it on T-shirts. I guess I don't want art to be popular in the sense that The BackStreet Boys are popular, I just don't want it to be nothing more then a status symbol. Maybe that's why I'm so interested in Manga and anime. It's art. Many people view it. It's popular art. It's hardly posh, but it's still art. I don't know. After the art thingy we went out to dinner. We went to someplace I'd never heard of before. The food was good and all, but I dunno. They had this thing they served with the dinner, they called it "Vegtibles", what do you possibly think something called "Vegtibles" contain? Apparently spinach and bacon, prepared in such a way that you could only taste the bacon, even if you tried your best to eat around the bacon. This rant is probably long enough to make into a journal entry, but I'm at my dad's house so I don't have the programes or files to make a journal entry, and eveyone else is posting long rants on their blogs, so I can too. Hitome!! Stop chasing skanky Allen!! He doesn't love you! It's all a stupid fate machinything! You love Van-sama! Van-sama!!!!! FORGET THE SKANK!!! *hugs Van-sama* *ignores nasty look from Merle* January 18, 2001For some reason, it feels like a friday.5:05 PM | smovakia How does she do that!! 5:02 PM | smovakia I hope your arm's ok Claman. At least if it's on your arm you'll know if the doctor actually removes it. 4:46 PM | smovakia Katherine, I know what you mean about drawing the same characters over again, and getting them to look the same. I had to simplify the costume designs for my characters a lot, and even then the main character magically grew bangs between the fourth and fifth page >_< Fred, the guy that draws Megatokyo, talked about the same problem in one of the journal entries that goes along with his comic. 4:39 PM | smovakia That's a good point megs. Time sure has odd oppinions of who the man of the year should be, I mean, the Earth? that's not exactly a man, no even a human. U.S. Women are at least human, although how a group of people can become the man of the year is beyond me. Maybe they should change the name of this man of the year thing. I guess "the thing/person/group we at Time think is cool this year" is too long. . . 4:30 PM | smovakia January 16, 2001I'll help with your campaign to make Jetwolf Time person of the year, Katherine7:58 PM | smovakia Poor Claman. At least you have fish. I guess I won't see you for a while seeing as how you lack lunch. 7:55 PM | smovakia I think Claman and Katherine would appreciate this. 6:16 PM | smovakia The long weekend's nearly over T_T 4:41 PM | smovakia I didn't have to go see 102 Dalmations, because the kid I was babysitting deceided he'd rather play Zelda. I thought megs would be proud. He had a short attention span, so he didn't play Zelda all that long, but I think the video games might actually help his attention span. At least they captivated his attention more then anything else. He even lost interest in food before I could make him lunch! But he did go back later and ate the sandwich. 4:34 PM | smovakia I have to baby sit today. It'll only be for a few hours, and I'm supposed to take the kid to see 102 Dalmations, so that'll be pretty easy. I'd rather go to Shocc and get Cowboy Beebop: Jamming with Edward, but wouldn't everyone? 9:04 AM | smovakia Poor megs. Somehow I don't think your mom'll ever let you drive with your father again. 8:59 AM | smovakia January 15, 2001none of my friends have blogged much this weekend T_T1:37 PM | smovakia My comic book finally has a cover. 1:36 PM | smovakia January 14, 2001blogger looks wierd in Internet Explorer O.O I'm going back to Netscape.5:59 PM | smovakia I just registered for the SAT online. My computer did fine until I tryed to log into blogger, when typing in my username, my computer froze. >_< this computer's so picky. 5:57 PM | smovakia |
