April 28, 2001O.O my smoke detector just beebed a couple times and stopped, beebed again and stopped. I don't smell/see and smoke. . . It was like watching the movie, except I don't remember what happened in the dream. There were a lot of clamp people and red and green dragons. I have no idea when the dinnery thingy I'm supposed to go to tonight is. I suppose I should try to find out. They'll probably come to pick me up and I'll be sitting here playing FFVII. Ellie would kill me ^_^ I'm actually kinda surpised she hasn't tryed to kill me yet for canceling on prom. It is sorta funny how she started out planning for a group of 8 people and ended up with a group of 4. You know what, it's been over a year since I'm worn high healed shoes. I'm probably gonna fall flat on my face. I got my sketches and stuff from my CCAD saturday art class back today! I'm probably going to scan some sketches(there's no way I'm scanning the 30 sec. sketches though, they suck, and I mean suck. Nor will you see the paintings that suck abnormally large goat eggs.) and the one pencil drawing that turned out pretty well. This post's really random, and none of the paragraphs have anything to do with the each other, but that's ok. I'm feeling rather hyper and random, so you all can just deal with it. April 27, 2001I haven't been blogging much lately. Sorry.I watched more Trigun tonight, and the first part of the X movie. Small child Vash is really cute, but why does Miaka's American VA have to be in practically every dubed show I've seen?? If she was extremely talented or something it would be one thing. . . but . . . arg. The dubing of the X movie was bad too, they couldn't pronounce anything, they even pronounced Tokyo wronge. It was a good movie anyway ^_^ And Megs and Katherine kept talking about all the intricate X plotlines, and I had noooo idea what was going on. ^_^ it was fun anyway. And Lena bought my prom ticket! It wasn't a waste buy it!! It'll be funny though, they make you put your name on a list for some odd reason, and Lena's going with her boyfriend using my ticket and Katherine's ticket, so her boyfriend's gonna have to pretend his name's either Sheri or Katherine ^___________^ I almost wish I could go just to see that. I don't really know how to use them. . . There's only half tone, no fourth tone or anything like that. The people at FARP talked about it bit when I first joined the mailing list. April 24, 2001I'm pretty sure the main character in Big O has the same VA as Spike. Big O's actually pretty good. It's basically Batman with large robots. Basically it releases huge amounts of good chemicals, making the mother feel more emotionally attatched to the child then the father would simply because the father has not gone through he process of childbirth. I think bringing up men's tendency for physical strength isn't much of an issue for middle class families in American(which is what I'm pretty sure people are argueing about) because most jobs are office jobs(at least for the middle class) and require only mental abilities. I do however think it's good for one parent to stay home while the children are small. Once they're older there's no reason why the parent shouldn't go back to work. In my oppinion. 10:30 AM | smovakia I sorta know how you feel Katherine about prom. I do want to go to prom, but it's not that important to me. I think people will go stag. At least Ellie know several people who will. I wouldn't worry about that part of it. My problem is that my mom won't let me go 'cause of the location. For some reason they picked to have it in a ballroom that's in a really bad neighborhood. She didn't think it'd be a good idea for a bunch of girls to drive around there at night, especially in heels. . .I havn't told Ellie that I can't go yet. . . I kinda wish I signed up to work in little kid's space. You don't have to do anything in little kids space.
